Mr. Nguyen Quang Vinh – Director of BOT Bac Giang – Lang Son Joint Stock Company said: This project is divided into two components: Component QL1 with the starting point from km1 + 800 in the Huu Nghi border gate area, the end point km112 (Lang Giang district, Bac Giang province); Total length is 110km, QL1 component has been completed and toll collection starts from June 1, 2018. The expressway component with the starting point from km45 + 100 (Mai Sao commune, Chi Lang district, Lang Son province), the ending point being km108 + 500 (Bac Giang city, Bac Giang province); The total length is 64.3km.

According to Mr. Vinh, the volume achieved so far exceeds the required progress by about 4%. According to the current progress, the Bac Giang – Lang Son expressway project will be completed by the end of 2019, the company is trying to speed up the progress to put into operation earlier than the schedule. To achieve this goal, before, during and after the Ky Hoi Lunar New Year, the weather units took advantage of the urgent support of construction.

Focus on clearing the ground

Previously, the Ministry of Transport was the authorized state agency to manage the project. By May 2018, the project was transferred by the Ministry of Transport to the People’s Committee of Lang Son province under the direction of the Prime Minister. Accordingly, the competent state agencies participate in monitoring the entire project implementation process in terms of quality, progress, capital mobilization, disbursement … Also according to Mr. Vinh, the attention and support In the locality of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Lang Son, up to now, the project implementation has taken place smoothly, the site clearance has basically been completed. In addition, the coordination in security, order and project implementation between the investor and the locality also took place smoothly and effectively.

However, at present, there are still 11 locations in the area of ​​Lang Giang district (Lang Son province) which are still facing problems; The main route still has 14 problems, affecting the construction of the road foundation and bridge piers. In particular, lingering problems at bidding packages XL15-CT and XL19-CT greatly affect the completion of the entire Project. In addition to the main route, there are also 4 problem locations affecting the construction of the collection road and the bridge section in packages XL15-CT and XL18-CT. Location City. Bac Giang currently has 5 locations, in which the main line is stuck at 02 locations, section km 108 + 280 because 02 households prevent them from relocating. In addition, the route NH1 also has problems with 3 locations for site clearance.

The section of the road in Lang Son province has basically completed the settlement of the main route, leaving only a few additional land acquisition locations such as relocation of the canal, widening of the ta-luy roof. clearance.

According to Mr. Vinh, the company is urgently constructing, speeding up at the points where the site has been handed over. However, the unit is in need of participation and active local support in the handover of the site to ensure the construction progress of the Bac Giang – Lang Son expressway, bringing the project to the destination by the end of 2019. Contributing to socio-economic development of the two provinces of Bac Giang and Lang Son in particular and of the whole region through which the route passes.

The route is designed with 4 lanes, speed 100 km / h. So far, the output of expressway component construction has reached 3,762 billion VND (reaching 60%), of which the volume of excavation and embankment construction has reached 98%; construction of macadam aggregate reached 88%; construction of culverts of all kinds reaches 95%; plastic concrete construction 16%; 33/33 bridges were constructed of bridges, demand output reached 87%. The disbursement value reached 6,926 billion VND, in which the disbursement for site clearance was 1,485 billion VND; disbursement for consultancy and construction packages reached 4,441 billion VND. The total investment of the project is 12,188 billion.
