Hanoi – Thai Nguyen Expressway
The highway Hanoi – Thai Nguyen, also known as the new National Highway 3, is one of the six highways under construction under planning in the North of Vietnam. The road was started on November 24, 2009. The route will go through the three provinces of Hanoi, Thai Nguyen and a short section in Bac Ninh province. Highway Hanoi – Thai Nguyen will have a road surface of 34.5m wide and 61 km long with the starting point of the new National Highway 1A in Ninh Hiep commune (Gia Lam, Hanoi) and the end point is the route to avoid Thai city. Originally, this route would be mainly on the right side of the old National Highway 3
